who are the baudelaires and who are the quagmires

They are the main charictors in a series of unfortunate events asoue for short. In asoue the baudelaires are clever kids who become orphans from a fire that killed their parents and destoyed their entiere home. In the astere academy the baudelaires meet the quagmires,duncan and isadora, who's parents and brother,quigly, died in a fire,too. Latter in the sliperey slope, the baudelaires meet quigly who after all did not die in a fire. This preety much how the  baudelaires and quagmires met.
